ABOUT BLAU RANCH

Over a Century of Ranching Tradition

THE FAMILY

Blau Ranch has been in our family for three generations, and let's be honest, it's a place where city slickers turned ranch hands are still figuring things out—though some of us are more fluent in ranching than others. When Brenda and her brother inherited the land in 2014, it came with 20 cows and a border collie, and it has only grown from there. A few years later, Casey, the most natural cattle rancher among us, added an adjoining 50 acres, which is now home to Friendship Acres.

These days, between tending cattle, fixing fences, and learning the hard way that cows don’t always cooperate, we keep the ranch running with a lot of heart, a little humor, and an ever-growing collection of animals.

THE PROPERTY

Nestled in the rolling pastures of Bellville, Texas, Blau Ranch is more than just a working cattle ranch—it’s a living legacy. For over a century, this land has been home to hard work, family traditions, and a deep respect for ranching life.

Today, we continue that heritage through our cow-calf operation, raising Brahman and Braford cattle, breeds chosen for their strength, adaptability, and quality.

But ranching isn’t just about cattle—it’s about community, stewardship, and the rhythm of life on the land. Whether it’s fixing fences at sunrise, watching a new calf take its first steps, or gathering around the fire pit under a Texas sky, life here is a mix of grit, tradition, and the simple joys of the outdoors.

Beyond the cattle, we welcome visitors to Friendship Acres, our on-site Airbnb, where guests can experience the peace and beauty of ranch life firsthand. Come stay awhile, soak in the wide-open spaces, and see for yourself what makes Blau Ranch feel like home.
